That's pretty terrible, John. For me things went fine, but I understand your comments very well. The days when I felt nothing in my nose after the operation were very uncomfortable. Luckily there was no external impact on my nose, so the operation was invisible, but it must feel hard to look in a stranger's face.

I just want to add to below that my deviation wasn't even a big deal. I didn't hate my nose before surgery. It was what I was wondering would be a minor little fix. It fucking butchered my nose.

I had an injury when I was 5 and it severed my septum causing it to deviat and look warped when looking up my nose. My nose got broke when I was 28 and so I asked the ENT surg if he could fix the deviation while he was at resetting the broken piece of nasal bone. He didn't reset the bone properly and so I now have permanent broken nose look. And rather than just fix my septum back to the centre he cut it away into my head. 2 years later my nose still feels weird. Its all floppy at the tip, my whole nose looks different and feels strange when I kiss girls because its all floppy. I tell you I could have killed that fucking doctor. Be very careful when you let someone screw with your nose. I discovered that it is the most spiritual sense of self on your whole body. It is the centre of your being. All my facial expressions have changed per my nose. I don't really recognise my self. And I hate my new nose. Think about that fact that I didn't go under the knife to get plastic surgery - I was meant to have two things fixed that had been caused by injuries. And now, my nose is still looking weird and warped looking up it just like it always did but now there are even more deformities.
