Just to put things into perspective: The flags are only displayed on special occasions like Swiss National Day and some other holidays. You took this shot on August 3rd, two days after the Swiss National Day. On any other day you wouldn't have seen all these flags. It's like visiting the United States on the 4th of July. I don't say the Swiss don't love their flag, they certainly do, as do citizens from about any other nation. But making a bold statement like there being more pride in Switzerland than somewhere else based on a short stay in Switzerland at that particular time of the year is quite injudicious and also a little insulting. | ||
