Death Valley is my favorite place on Earth. The dunes are one of my favorite places in Death Valley. In fact, I would be there right now, I even had reservations for Stovepipe Wells. But we have a family member who is very near the end of her struggle with cancer, so we have postponed our trip.

I'm really bummed right now, for the sweet little old lady who's fading out of our lives, and for another missed opportunity to renew my soul in the magic of the desert. Your photo is like a little window that lets me see where my spirit would like to be. Thank you.
