The wall just starting behind this building, which the Nazis burned down in 1933 and which before that was Germany's center of democracy. After reunification it is now the official seat of the German parliament. | ||

I find your diary open and touching. I have to teach a lesson to school kids in a couple of days. Your two photos of the Reichstag wrapped and unwrapped will be very useful, hope you don't mind. It's an Art lesson, but obviously there will be some history as well. Thanks james | ||
