Ghost under water
Sydney, 1 May 2001
I was waiting for about an hour until the sun broke free and I was given a beautiful view of the Opera House and a Rainbow opening up over it
After waiting for an hour to have the sun come out, it came and gave me a Rainbow.... Needless to say I was very happy.....
View of Sydney Harbour and its Opera House from the Harbour Bridge
I gave this girl my camera and ran over to the other side of the aquarium so she could take a photo of me through the water....

Minga
Yulara, 4 May 2001
Ayers Rock or Uluru as the Aborigines call it during daytime
A closer look on Uluru - its rock contains iron that oxidizes after rainfall... so the red glow of the mountain is the reflection of the sun on itself rusting.....
Look on the strange carvings on Uluru from its sunrise view.... no wonder the Aborigines there see many different animal shapes carved into the rock.....
The Aborigines call the tourists that climb their sacred monolith 'Minga', which means 'annoying little ants'... This photo shows why....

Yulara, 5 May 2001
The deep red of Uluru during sunset.....
Ducks swimming in a part of Kings Canyon that its discoveres called 'The Garden of Eden', due to calm clear pools hidden away secretly in the middle of the hot desert.... The reflections show the blue of the sky, the green of the plants and the red of the rock.....
The shapes of Kings Canyon in the Northern Territory
Wild camels, that were let go by discoveres in this area running across the desert.....

A look on the Olgas or Kata Tjuta, which is what the Aborigines call it....
These colours in the Outback remind me a lot of the colours at home at Topanga.....
Me in a sexy swimsuit getting ready to go below the ocean and speak to the fish.... Look for me underwater!
Me underwater doing the Diver's 'Okay' sign, which apparently in some countries can be mistaken for telling someone that they are not the most appreciated person....

A speedboat racing past us in the hot sun at the Great Barrier Reef
Three lazy frogs looking like plastic sitting on an antenna at a restaurant that we passed when we were going to Cape Tribulation
One of the arms of the jungle river - no idea what the river is called, but I shot the photo at S16.27352/E145.41744 - we were looking for crocodiles, but they never showed up, apart from a baby one, about as long as a grown cucumber and about as dangerous...

Together on the beach....
Cairns, 9 May 2001
Looks like a beautiful and deserted beach, but is either full with deadly jell-fish, when you try to swim or hords of east-Germans behind us speaking in an annoying Saxony accent....
Me being treated to Korean dinner on my 29th birthday.....
A look from the pier of Green Island on its excellent snorchelling area....

Kraachten
Amsterdam, 14 May 2001
The soft focus on this picture makes it look like a painting....
After the last tourists boats leave, Green Island is absolutely deserted.... This is a photo of the beach at moonlight....
As soon as you stepped away for a second from your breakfast.... these little green birds came and descended down and went especially for the butter.... Also they loved scrambled eggs, which spooked me out... Cannibals!
