How a fish would see the upper cabin.....
Bird's view out of the plane of my hometown, the Domstadt Freising (Dom refers to the church with the two clock towers)
 It's July, it's warm, what better way to spend the evening than in a beergarden.....
 Karin and myself as the city idiots, while hanging out with the village idiots...

This is what they do out in the countryside - they put a tent up in some farmer's village and play really bad techno music and it quickly fills up.....
Picture of my old friend Maxi and Fraenk at the first part of our highschool reunion, which took place in our old school....
 From left to right: Volker, Vreni, Dr.Flo, Lisi, Maxi, myself and Alex.... No idea what suddenly happened to make this photo as it is.... Must have been the champagne that Lisi is holding.....
 After everybody left for the restaurant for part 2 of our reunion, a few of us stayed back.... Here Volker and the Heril institute led us to a historic hidden hide-away.....

I had actually forgotten about the huge airbrush 'oasis' that Maxi and Wolfgang created in our school.... Here is Maxi explaining us some of the details....

 The aula (main hall) of our old school... Decorated for a special language festival and at the same time a choir was practising on the stage.... It's always active in this place.....

So Flo actually had the master key, so we did a quick tour and tried to fit back into the chairs of our biosaal biology class-room.....
While we are all pretending to be much brighter than back in school, Volker does a magic trick ;-)
 Playing around with the limbs of the skeleton in our biology classroom....
 After our tour through our beloved school, we did a quick shot in front of our main gate before we headed for part II

Munich's main square, the Marienplatz in the summer.... The building in the front is the city hall.....
Meeting PW at a Beergarden in Munich and enjoying Leberkas and Sauerkraut and of course some beer.....
 This is how I made myself feel cozy up in the upper cabin..... Laptop, Wine and Travel screen.....
 Up in Lufthansa IFC with enough legroom for Dennis Rodman wearing high-heels. Two flight attendants looking after four passenger, I wore shorts that day, so they checked my boarding pass three times....

It was a gorgeous clear day and the view over Greenland and the islands of ice floating in the water was spectacular.
The proportions of the ice floes was enormous.....
 More of the view over greenland....
 They give you a rose up there and you can put it into an extra holder in your seat.... And watch the humidity of the plane take its toll over the 12 hours flying time....

180 degrees of the Observatory....
Famous sight of the observatory with the skyline of LA rising in the back..... and a thick layer of dark smog.....
 In the middle of LA, just near the Hollywood sign is Griffith Park with its untouched wilderness....
 That day we arrived early morning, took the Superman Coaster which shot us up in the sky, but then an hour later the queues were filling up, until people were queuing up for two hours and we left for home....

Another photo of Philadelphia's City Hall at night....
This place in Hollywood is quite cheezy, with its hairdresser decor, but the music is good and also despite the name the people aren't the typical pretentious Hollywood crowd....
 Seemed like a good idea at the time.....
