Finally a smile out of Karin when she was a bit annoyed about the fireworks and party being cancelled....
On Princes Street. Most people left, but it was still quite enjoyable.... You could talk to anybody, everyone was smiling and hugging you and shouting 'Happy New Year!'...
 While Karin and Bernhard visited me, I was sick with the flu for the entire time and stayed at home while Karin and Bernhard were around the city... This and New Years Eve were the only day when I made it out of the flat. I am smiling, but in fact I was coughing and dizzy....
 Drew Curtis, the founder of fark.com, the site with the most amazing Photoshop competitions and wife visited Edinburgh and lots of people showed up....

Dani visited me again! Here she is taking photos of Edinburgh. I lent her my small camera and she was much better with it than I was with my massive equpipment...

Another photo taken by Dani....
 Taken with my small Canon, this photo shows that Dani is a better photographer than I am... I am jealous...
 So I wanted to show Dani Edinburgh on a sunny day and got Project Gotham Racing 2 with the Edinburgh tracks. Unfortunately I got really obsessed for a few hours about it... So Dani spent her time taking a photo of me playing the game...

Going up Arthur's seat got to be windier than ever.... So I brought my Poncho along for Dani....
As taken by Dani... I am going through my backpack to find a couple of lenses for my camera....
 Calton Hill and in the background the hills of Fife.... Not quite yet the Highlands, looks great though....

At first I said 'nah, you can't take pictures of that', then Dani convinced me and I took this great photo of Scott Monument....

 But for some reason Pete thought this was hilarious! And handed me the newspaper, took the photo and then I read the headline....
